Humble Beginnings, Humble Man. VJ Emergency....

A humble man who came from very humble beginnings and stays humble despite his achievements. Who can this be if not VJ Emergency?

We get to know tons about a person when we ask them the right questions which hopefully I did.

His biggest pet peeve is when someone just give up without any effort or trying, he finds it extremely irritating when they don't try in a different way but instead throw up their hands in the air and say: "that's it, I give up".

"There's always a way to succeed, failures are just stepping stones, if this way doesn't work find an alternative, better yet create a new way! Move positively and life shall embrace you". - VJ Emergency

He has been in the entertainment industry since the early years of 1992. Having said that, he has came across plenty of failures, embarrassments, harsh ordeals and whatever not.

The biggest question though, DID HE GIVE UP? You know the answer as much as I do and that is why he is where he is today.

This man has created boundless opportunities for himself and for those around him, when he couldn't make that much of money (everyone needs money to sustain, right?) by making music he turned to events instead.

He started up his own company, found clients and did his very best. He branched out his interests relating to the field of entertainment; Jamz Karaoke for one.

It is still related to the field he knows best but that's exactly not what he set out to do in the early stages of his life. He wanted to be a renowned singer, the best thing about this is he is known for more than that one thing now.

From naysayers to non-believers, he has met them all. Many people just love him but he still thinks he has not achieved anything yet. I mean, how humble is that? Budding talents have a lot to learn from this person and he is so open to new ideas and willing to lend a helping hand as well.

His insights were so classic yet fresh at the same time, because he said this generation is so lucky to have one thing he didn't have back in his time; social media - our biggest weapon.

Isn't it awesome to think we can do it all with a click of a finger and reach millions of people ever so quickly? We just have to find out what works, everything can't be spoon fed.

Back in those days, they had to travel to Terengganu, Kelantan and so many more other places just to see if their target audience were there. They attended every Chitrapournami event, every Thaipusam event, just to promote their brand and create awareness.

They didn't have YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc to reach their target audience. They had to do every ground work by themselves, hustle like nobody's business and learn through trial and error. Nobody was there to guide them, at least now we all have a mutual best-friend to sail us through that phase: Google.

"The issue with people these days are we want everything instantly, we do not want to hustle and put in some hard work. We are afraid to lose and we are a generation of "lazy" people who do not want to put ourselves out but we want all the achievement in a blink of an eye."

On a different note, we have a man here who says you can't ever lose if you keep trying in so many other ways. No one ever gets anything instantly, everything takes time, there's no such thing as overnight super star.

All he insists is this:
Never give up, ever. Just have a stack of motivational songs to keep you going when things ain't right, when you get knocked down, get back up and fight all over again. Fight, no matter how many times you lose, fail gloriously and fight some more. Fight differently, fight until you win and when you win, keep fighting to become better.

Come to think of it, isn't that what life's about?
